Centrelizer
Stevedoring companies and ship-owners are today focusing on safer and more rapidly handling. The Timars Gravity Centrelizer offers unique advantages to control goods that have a gravity point that is shifted from the center, due to incorrect stowed goods or just through an asymmetric design. With the Timars Gravity Centrelizer the crane operator just set a correct gravity point and handles the goods in a safe and correct way. This means less risk of jamed containers in cellguides. The Centrelizer can work with any brand of fixed frame container spreader. Extreme low tare weight, 330 kg only. Operates on both 20ft and 40ft spreaders.
Centralizer is equipped with 2pcs rings 300x200x50 50T (grade 8) and 2pcs shackle KL-8 M42 40T (grade 8) for attaching your twin-hook.
For attachment to spreaders is a chain 32mm, grade 8, with work certificate in accordance to ISO 3178. The chain is 2976 mm long and with anchor shackle KL-8 M42 40T in each end in order to fit 2pcs 2-part
wire sling.
Safety Wheel Blocking system (SWB-system):
The chain wheel has a patent pending integrated safety wheel blocking system that automatically prevents the chain wheel from turning when the mainsling/chains are straight due to lifting the load beneath.
To change the lifting point, just lower the gravity Centrelizer so that the spreader sling is slackened. Then the chain wheel will be unblocked and the lifting point can be changed.
