Magyar was established in year 1945 in the city Poligny in the Jura region, in the east part of France.
In the beginning the production was concentrated to equipment for the edible industry. At that time ordinary steel was common use.
In the year 1950 MAGYAR was one of the few companies who started to use aluminium and stainless steel which at the time was a new welding technology.
In the year 1991 the consumtion of stainless steel was more than 3000 tonnes.
Today MAGYAR is the number one manufacturer in Europe on stainless steel tankers and with a annual delivery of more than 1200 units and employes more than 500 peoples at 4 factories within a range of 60 kilometres from Dijon, 300 kilometres south of Paris in France.
The company group has continously increased their business and through a dynamic sales policy all over Europe and based on continous research and innovations, aspecially on safety, has lead to a reliable and successful supplier.
The MAGYAR products are tailor made solutions based on client demands and with a wide range of concept for transport of both edible or ADR-classified liquids in tanks on rigids, semitrailers, drawbar trailers, tank wagons, tank containers and swapbodies. This has lead to a continous development in experience and investments in always the latest technology and new plants.
