Ecological thinking by Timars

At Timars we are convinced about the fact that everyone needs to work for a sustainable future for the earth and the ones living on it. We have been working with environmental projects since the start and since 2002 we are working according to ISO 14001.

We have made several improvements during this period and are proud for the goals that we achieved.

All our electric power comes from Green electricity, for example wind power

We have reduced electricity consumption with 30% during 2003-2008

· We have reduced waste and increased recycling in production
· In 2009 we will introduce solar panels for the heating in our fabric

Timars products are also manufactured according to high demands on environmental aspects. Examples:

· Timars port equipment is manufactured as light as possible for decreased environmental influence during freight and operation,
· Timars port equipment are mechanical operated without any hydraulic oil
· Solar panels for loading batteries on Timars OHA
· Painted with colors with low VOC (less dissolvent) and epoxy colors with low amount of zink.
